Shares transferred to the IEPF, by market value: roughly ₹35,000 crore (Estimates vary between Rs 30,000 and 40,000 crore). Share values move with the market; no official mark-to-market figure is published. Industry estimates via Business Standard and recovery-industry analyses.
Still uncounted in any public figure:
- Post office and small-savings balances moved to the Senior Citizens' Welfare Fund (no consolidated public figure)
- Unclaimed mutual fund folios traced via MITRA (value not published in aggregate)
- Matured but unclaimed corporate deposits and debentures

How this page counts.
A figure enters the verified table only when a government institution or regulator has published it, with the date it refers to and a link to where it was reported. Estimates stay clearly labelled as estimates. Figures refresh quarterly, and every October we publish the full picture as the annual State of Unclaimed India report.
