## What We Do

Parampara Family Vault is a secure document organization platform built for Indian families. We help families store, organize, and share their most important financial and legal documents in one structured, accessible place.

The problem we're solving: India has over ₹1.84 lakh crore in unclaimed financial assets—bank FDs, insurance policies, EPF accounts, property documents—because families don't know what their loved ones have or where it's kept. When something happens, families are left searching through almirahs, making dozens of phone calls, and guessing.

Parampara ensures this never happens to your family.

## Core Features

### 1. Family Document Vault
A structured vault with 10 categories for all important family documents:
- LIC & Insurance Policies
- EPF / PF Accounts
- PPF Accounts
- Bank Accounts & Fixed Deposits
- Property Documents
- Will & Legal Documents
- Demat & Investment Accounts
- Nominee Master List
- Aadhaar & PAN Cards
- Gold & Valuables

Each category has structured fields—not a file dump. You enter real data: policy numbers, nominee names, maturity dates, account details.

### 2. Family Access Control
Invite up to 3 trusted family members to your vault. They get read-only access to categories you choose to share. You control exactly what they can see. You can revoke access anytime.

### 3. Emergency Card
Generate a time-limited emergency link containing your most critical information: top insurance policies, bank details, key contacts, and Will location. Share it only when someone needs it—without handing over your entire vault.

### 4. Smart Reminders
Get notified before it's too late:
- FD maturity dates
- Insurance premium due dates
- Will review reminders
- Nominee update reminders

## Security & Privacy

- AES-256 encryption for all data
- Data stored in India (Supabase)
- You control all access—family members only see what you share
- No one, including us, can access your data without permission
- Not a legal service or estate planning firm—just organized storage

Parampara is live and free to use. No credit card required. Built for Indian families to organise critical financial and legal documents in one secure place. Bank-grade security, data stored in India, and a WhatsApp onboarding flow for families on mobile.
